British Credit Awards 2025 Nomination!

We’re so excited to announce that CTCC Solutions Ltd has made it to the final shortlist for the British Credit Awards 2025 (BCA 2025). Every year, the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) organise an award show to celebrate the very best of credit management globally.

We have been shortlisted for the Supporting the Community Award, an accolade that looks at the way organisations are practicing credit management whilst also upholding the community surrounding them. We’re so proud to be recognised as a business which puts our community at the forefront.

Since the start of CTCC Solutions in 2012, our Managing Director, Clare has made it her mission to change opinions of who a credit controller really is. We strongly focus on maintaining our client’s customer relationships.

Our approach to chasing has always been to show compassion, understanding, and problem solve our way through it – an approachable phone call really can be the difference between getting those invoices paid.

By doing so, not only have we had happy clients, but we have had regular referrals too.

Our Core Values are at the heart of what we do as a business.

Confident: We're a self-assured group of credit controllers, eager to learn and take on a challenge.

Tenacity: A tenacious bunch, determined to get your invoices paid through the art of problem solving.

Caring: Empathy with our clients and co-workers and upholding customer relationships is at the heart of what we do.

Communicative: We're a responsive team and enjoy connecting with our clients and their customers.

Supporting our community is a holistic approach so it’s not just the way we take care of our clients and their customers that shows this. The team have been involved with the local community in many ways.

Clare works closely with The Wave Project, a charity using the power of surf therapy to help young people. Co-creating a surf-networking event has brought in local businesses to support the cause.

Clare is also an Area Lead for the Federation of Small Business (FSB) where she is constantly creating space for businesses to connect by hosting networking events for local businesses whilst also championing the amazing support and services the FSB provides for small businesses.

Her role of bridging gaps isn’t just for businesses either. As an Enterprise Advisor, she has helped connect the dots between the world of work and school students, which hasn’t gone unnoticed either. After starting a breakfast networking event at a local school, the events started spreading to other schools in Cornwall too.

Anika has been working closely with a local school as well. She has been involved in their extra curriculum day as a marketing expert. The students create small pizza businesses (think along the lines of The Apprentice) whilst she guides them through a marketing campaign. Exposing the students to different roles within a company has helped them get an understanding of the responsibilities in running a business.

Lynn has also worked with the Careers Hub to create lesson plans related to the world of work for students learning maths. From spotting misallocations to unravelling and reconciling accounts, this has been a great way for students to problem solve using real life scenarios.

We’ve always made sure to embed our community into our business. Whether that is for networking, supporting local charities, or being the bridge between schools and the world of work. We’re excited to bring more elements of this to the way we work (keep your eyes peeled for CTCC charity days!)

Team CTCC have been so thrilled about the nomination and we can’t wait to find out the results. We’re one of five finalists in our category, including Anixter Ltd, Biffa Waste Services, Global Credit Recoveries and Saint-Gobain. Although we’re up against some BIG names, we’re still holding out hope. Results will be announced on 6th February 2025.

Wish us luck!
